Looking for a Lifestyle Medicine speaker for your next event?

As a recognized expert in the integration of internal and lifestyle medicine, Brett Senor, MD provides patients and communities with the education and tools needed to improve their health. Dr. Senor's goal is to shed light on a more comprehensive approach to healthcare, one that results in better health outcomes for everyone.

Only when we combine traditional Western medicine with a common sense focus on how patients are living their day-to-day lives can we help them become the healthiest version of themselves.

In addition to his work with patients, Dr. Senor empowers audiences through engaging presentations and workshops that highlight how lifestyle changes can transform health outcomes.

Meet Brett Senor, MD

For twenty-six years, the tools I had to care for patients were predominantly medications and procedures. Over time, I became frustrated by the limitations of our traditional sick-care model. While this approach might add days, months, or sometimes years to a patient’s life, it often had no impact on the quality of their life.

Everything changed in 2018 when I was introduced to the principles of lifestyle medicine. It opened my eyes to the possibility of meaningfully extending not just a person’s life, but their healthspan as well, using therapeutic lifestyle interventions.

By equipping people with the education and tools to improve health, we give them the power to change not only their own health trajectory but also positively impact our environment.

OUR GOALS

IMPROVE PATIENT HEALTH

Patients deserve to understand that they have more control over their health destiny than they realize. Practitioners can achieve better patient outcomes when they consider the whole person, including how day-to-day choices affect overall wellness and disease risk.

REDUCE THE COST OF HEALTHCARE

Chronic diseases are responsible for at least 80% of US  healthcare expenditures. When we help our patients  improve their behaviors involving  nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress  management, and avoidance of  toxic substances, we reduce their  risk for chronic disease.

MINIMIZE OUR IMPACT ON CLIMATE CHANGE

Consuming fewer animal products, walking or cycling to work, or engaging in other planet-friendly activities can significantly reduce our carbon footprint, lessening the effects of climate change.
